Supported living at Simply Homecare is a distinctive and empowering model where we provide care and accommodation through two separate and independent contracts. This approach is designed to offer individuals a greater degree of autonomy and flexibility while ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive in their chosen living arrangements. 

The support provided in supported living is highly individualized. Care plans are tailored to the specific needs, preferences, and goals of each person. Whether it's assistance with daily activities, personal care, cleaning, shopping or achieving personal milestones, the support is designed to align with the unique requirements of each individual.

Our CQC regulated service provides personalised properties and care at an affordable price, starting at £400 per month for accommodation and £18 per hour for care.

We offer a range of 1-bed apartments for those that want to live in a truly independent environment. We also have a range of shared apartments where you can live with other people in order to make new friends! Our shared apartments include properties with ensuites and shared-bathrooms.

For our shared apartments, when it comes to deciding who you live with in supported living, the answer is a resounding yes — you have a say in shaping your living environment.

1. Introductory Meetings

• If you choose to move into a property where others are already residing, we facilitate introductory meetings. 

• This provides an opportunity for you to meet your potential fellow residents, engage in conversations, and assess if there's a compatibility that aligns with your lifestyle and preferences.

2. Ongoing Decision-Making:

• We understand that the dynamics of shared living can evolve. 

• Therefore, we encourage ongoing decision-making. You'll have the chance for additional meetings with your fellow residents to foster positive relationships and ensure a harmonious living experience. If you feel that you would be more comfortable in a different home, we can offer other options and support you in moving, whilst retaining your care package

3. Moving Into a Vacant Property:

• If you opt for a property where no one currently resides, you still maintain the right to decide who you live with. 

• Should another individual express interest in moving in, you'll have the opportunity to meet them and express whether you would be happy for them to move in. Your comfort and satisfaction are paramount in shaping your living arrangements.

4. Choice and Control:

• Our commitment to person-centered care means you have the choice and control to determine the living situation that aligns with your lifestyle, values, and comfort levels. We prioritize creating an environment where you feel empowered and content.

5. Transparent Communication:

• Throughout the process, we facilitate transparent communication. We want you to feel informed and confident in your decision-making. Open discussions and clear communication ensure that everyone involved in the living arrangement is comfortable and content.
