Live-in Care

What is Live-in Care?

Our Live-In Care service offers a dedicated carer that resides with you 24/7. The carer will be there to provide assistance tailored to your needs and remain present to ensure you feel comfortable and safe in your home. Support can include everything from personal care to companionship and medication management to household tasks.

There will be a certain number of dedicated hours of care delivery that the carer will provide each day. These hours will cover all major care needs determined in the free care assessment. Outside of these dedicated care hours, your carer will remain present but will be free to relax and unwind. However, our carers are more than happy to help with small tasks, such as getting you a glass of water, outside of the dedicated care hours.

As indicated in the name, Live-in care means that your carer will sleep at your home. Under live-in care, your carer will only be able to wake up a maximum of 3 times during the night to provide support if needed. If you feel you may need more support overnight then we do offer an overnight care service which can be added onto this service, so another carer ensures you are safe and supported overnight whilst your live-in carer rests overnight.

Our CQC-regulated service ensures you feel supported and independent with affordable care, starting at £800 per week.

How does Live in Care differ to Domiciliary Care and 24/7 care?

At Simply Homecare, we recognize that choosing the right care arrangement is a significant decision, and understanding the distinctions between live-in care, domiciliary care and 24/7 care is crucial. Our commitment is to empower individuals to make informed choices that align with their preferences and lifestyle.
