Visiting Domiciliary Care

What is Domiciliary Care?

Domiciliary care, also known as home care, refers to a range of support services provided to individuals in their own homes to assist with daily activities and improve their overall quality of life.

This type of care is designed to help people, particularly those who are elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness or surgery, to maintain their independence and continue living in a familiar and comfortable environment.

Visiting domiciliary care support can be as little as 30 minutes a week up to a number of regular visits every day.

Our CQC regulated service ensures you feel supported and independent with affordable care, starting at £18 per hour.

What support can be provided in Domiciliary Care?

Domiciliary care services includes personal care (assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming), support with mobility and food preparation. It can also include other tasks, like medication management, light housekeeping, shopping, companionship and more!

The goal of domiciliary care is to meet the specific needs of individuals while promoting their well-being, autonomy, and ability to remain in their homes for as long as possible.

As a result, care plans are typically personalised based on the unique requirements and preferences of each individual receiving the service.
